PIONEER DAY/SIDEWALK SALE
Saturday, March 6th, will be our 2nd. annual PIONEER DAY and SIDEWALK SALE!! Mattie Street will be closed to vehicular traffic and pioneer style artisons will set up to display their crafts. On hand will be soap makers, quilters, old time engines, and much, much more.
Along with our Pioneer Day activities, stroll down Range Avenue in the Antique Village and shops will have tables and tables of specials outside on the sidewalk for that bargain you have been looking for. All of the shops and activities go from 10am to 5pm.
ANTIQUE VILLAGE SPRING & JAZZ FESTIVAL
Saturday, April 24th, will be the day when the streets fill with vendors featuring art, antiques, gifts, crafts, and all types of good food. Thousands of guest flow through the streets of the Antique Village and browse the booths and the shops looking for that special deal. Railroad Avenue features Jazz music all day long on the stage. At 11am the music will stop long enough for the always popular "Animal Fashion Show" and a performance by the "Odyssey School of Dance". There is plenty for the children as the Arts Council brings artist to Railroad Avenue for interactive games and free craft projects. Mattie Street is known as "Arts Avenue" as artist set up to show off their skills and sell their art all day long. At the Centerville Street end of Range Avenue will be a Jeep Rock Climbing display. See these jeeps display their ability to manuever over giant logs and boulders. There is lots of fun for everyone at the festival !!!!!
GIRLS NIGHT OUT
This is a ladies dream. For the small cost of a ticket, you come down after hours with hundreds of other ladies and enjoy YOUR own private shopping spree!! You are fed supper, given free gifts, and enter your name in for one of many, many door prizes. All participating stores have giant sales and freebies just for you on this special night. The hours are 6:30pm to 10pm in the Antique Village. Marshalls are present for your safety and there is PLENTY of laughs and fun for everyone!!! Ladies, you don't want to miss this one. RED, WHITE, & DENHAM
On Saturday, May 29, and Sunday, May 30, Denham Springs Main Street will sponsor Red, White, & Denham. Helium balloons line the streets and all of the shops treat their customers to small snacks and BIG sales!! Come join the fun!!
SUMMER IN THE VILLAGE
On Saturday, June 12, Pelican State CU and Coca Cola join together to give away FREE hot dogs and coke while you come down and enjoy a day we call "Summer in the Village". While shopping all of the sales in the Antiques District, drop in at Old City Hall on Mattie Street and enjoy a FREE hot dog and coke!!!! While visiting the Pelican State CU tent on Mattie Street, be sure to register for a free drawing for a $50.00 gift certificate to Long Horns Steakhouse!
SCARECROW ROW
From September 23rd, until well into the Fall, the shops in the Antique Village will be displaying their own custom made scarecrow. Denham Springs Main Street USA is sponsoring this event with special judging taking place on September 25th. Enjoy the various design of scarecrows as you take a leisurely stroll through the Antique Village. Our winners of the 2009 scarecrow contest were: Crowders Antiques, Heritage House, and Brush Fire Pottery.

VILLAGE BUCKS
Attention shoppers!!! Shop at a participating store in the Antique Village from October 2nd until November 12th and enter your name into a cash giveaway worth up to $300.00 in Village Bucks!!! Twenty stores in the Antique Village are identified by displaying a sign on their door inviting you shop to earn Village Bucks which may be spent as cash. A minimum purchase of $10.00 is required to enter the drawing and you will receive an additional entry for every $50.00 spent in that store!! On November 12th, drawings from $50.00 up to $300.00 worth of Village Bucks will be given away to the lucky winners. More than $1000.00 in Village Bucks will be given away just in time for Christmas shopping!!

Chef's Evening & Wine Tasting Event
Main Street presents its annual Chef's Evening & Wine Tasting Event on December 2nd. This event sells out early, so be ready to purchase your ticket as soon as they go on sale. You will be treated to food and wine samplers at over twenty shops in the Antique Village along with Christmas music and plenty of sales in the shops while you enjoy your food. This event will get you into the holiday spirit !!!
